Randy's Birthday Cruise
Our friend Randy (who Ryan has known since 4th grade?) just turned 30 on the 18th of December, and in honor of this a bunch of our friends (and us) went on a cruise! It was the cruise to Ensenada; you know the one that really would take about 2 hours to just sail there, but they make it into a 4 day cruise to make you feel like you're on a tropical vacation??? =) Randy's girlfriend Tasia's birthday was on the 19th, so we also got to celebrate with her. She, or should I say the waiters?, had a really good time at Papas and Beer on Saturday! =) Our friends Marco and Catie, Rhonda and Eddie, and a bunch of guys that we all know also went. It was a really good time, and as Catie called it somewhat of our "babymoon".

RJ's 5th tooth!
Our son is pretty cranky when he gets teeth in, but he just got his 5th tooth, practically without a peep. He was pretty sad coming home from Tracy on Saturday, so I gave him a few teething tablets, and voila he was fine and about thirty minutes later he had a tooth to his right of his two front teeth. It's all pointy like a dracula tooth! =) I cant believe he is getting sooo big!!!

Christmas Eve
I only have Christmas Eve pictures for now, but we had a Christmas extravaganza this year, so there will definitely be more to come!
This past Wednesday we left Sac and went to Gilroy to see Makenna in a play she was in, "A Christmas Carol." It was very cute, and very well done! My mom did all of the costumes in the play - seriously she is Supermom!
Then Thursday we went to Hollister for Christmas Eve dinner and hanging out. This year not only my family, but my step dad Shaun's family came from all over. His sister Erin and her daughter Avalon came from Santa Barbara, his mom Ruette came from Mexico, his brother-in-law Joe came from Santa Barbara, and his dad and step mom Tom and Phyllis came from Missouri. My Nana, Papa and uncle Charles, were there, as well. My mom had a crazy few weeks, that is for sure, especially with all those costumes mixed in to all of this!
We then came back on Friday for Christmas (late) morning and opened presents, ate, hung out, ate, took a nap, and then ate dinner. Don't you love the holidays and all of the excuses for eating??? =) It was a really good time, and we are so glad we got to hang out with everyone!
Our family. =)
Hmmmm

It's the most wonderful time of the year!
It is definitely feeling like Christmas time! This morning I woke up (for the third time) to a beautiful view out of my window - frost over everything! I always like our view since we have a field in front of our home, but it was just gorgeous this morning and made me smile. Hope it does the same for you!

RJ's One Year Checkup Stats
RJ went to see Dr. Lai (our wonderful pediatrician, have I mentioned I love her?) =) Anyway! Here are his stats:
Weight: 21 lb 9 oz (31st percentile)
Height: 2' 7.5" (92nd percentile)
Head Circum: 18.27" (51st percentile)
He's obviously a tall boy right now, we'll see if that lasts... Yesterday we were walking away from Ryan in a parking lot, and I waved and said "bye bye daddy", and we were about 15 yards away when RJ finally said "bye!" and waved his arm! (Of course so Ryan couldn't see him!) He is becoming such a big boy, and we are just loving every day hanging out with him and watching him grow!
We hope everyone is well and enjoying the holiday season!
