My new video
The video of the girl in the red dress is Kay Pettigrew singing the theme to Fresh Prince of Bel Air. It's actually really cute - the others are okay - I don't get the bottom one.
Cindy's Bachalorette Party - the edited version!
Although this is edited, if you are easily offended, please steer clear!!!
My friend Cindy is getting married in November and had her bachalorette weekend in Tahoe a couple of weekends ago. Before I got there, Cindy and a few of her childhood friends and one friend from teaching together went to the spa and got massages, manicures and pedicures. Once everyone showed up (8 of us) we took a limo out to dinner and started the night! We then went to bars and casinos around town, and we had a blast! I am so glad I got to know Cindy's friends better and can't wait for the wedding day.

Savannah's 9th Bowling Birthday!
Savannah turned 9 on May 31st, and last Sunday we went to Tracy to go to Savannah's bowling birthday party, and it was so much fun! RJ discovered balloons, and loved them, but when it was attached to his wrist it would bonk him in the head whenever he tried to move his hand to grab it...it was sad, but more funny! We bowled, had pizza and cupcakes and got to hang out with family and friends!
Memorial Day BBQ at Marco and Catie's
Last Monday, Memorial Day, we got to hang out with all of our long-lost friends. Marco and Catie (holding RJ) hosted a BBQ, and it was delicious! Our friends Cindy and Jimmy are also pictured together. Randy had to take his notorious picture with our camera - but, we love you Randy, so we forgive you! RJ tried watermelon for the second time (the other was in Disneyland), but this time wanted to hold it himself, and it was hilarious! He got down to the rind, and was so mad when I wouldn't let him have anymore. So, we just rubbed his binky on the watermelon, and he was content!
Santa Cruz!
We went to Santa Cruz with our friends Heather and Aaron, to celebrate Heather's graduation from San Joaquin Delta College, with a major of Nursing - I am so proud of her! It was windy, but still sunny, for the most part, and really nice to just hang out at the beach. RJ liked it, and, as always, refused to take a nap while in public. Thankfully this continuous shanningan of his doesn't make him cranky - it's worse if you try to make him fall asleep, so we just let him hang out and be a part of what's going on. We love hanging out with Heather and Aaron, and are so glad that we got to go to Santa Cruz with them!
What a big boy RJ is becoming!
Here are just some more random pictures of our boy.
Ryan took him to our wonderful Dr. Lai (his pediatrician) today, for his 6-month well-child visit, and here are his stats:
Age: 6 months
Weight: 17 lb 9.8 oz (52nd percentile)
Height: 2 ft 3.5 in (84th percentile)
Head Circum: 17 in (33rd percentile)
Head Circum: 17 in (33rd percentile)
He is a growing boy and has now tried (and liked) pureed carrots, pears, apples, peaches, bananas, sweet potatoes, and peas! He also eats rice ceral now, like a champ! He really wants to grab the spoon, and fed himself, and sure is strong! He loves to stand and is almost sitting all by himself. He loves stuffed animals, baseball games, Fraggle Rock, Dr, Seuss books, his girlfriend Rhonda, rolling over, his Grandpa Ray, touching his toes, Shooter and especially his daddy. You can see that his dad is his idol already!
He is the most wonderful baby and we couldn't have been luckier than to have this crazy, great life with one another.
