If all the raindrops were Lemon Drops and Gum Drops, oh what a rain that would be!

RJ and I were walking from the car to the house the other day and it was raining a little.  I looked at him and saw him stick his tongue out and try to catch rain drops!  What?!  No one has ever taught him this to my knowledge.  We have talked about rain and that it is water and we do signs for it, but I have never stuck my tongue out and tried to catch it...how sweet they are.  Young children really remind you how wonderful life is and that sometimes you need to stop and catch some raindrops on your tongue!!!  I love my son!

Christian's 8th Birthday

This weekend we went to Christian's 8th birthday celebration.  It seems like it was just a few months ago when we were celebrating his 7th!!!  Time sure flies, as you can see in these photos!  Delaney is so tall and getting more and more mobile!  She loves to hug her cousin RJ, and RJ loves it sometimes!  hahaha  =)  It was really nice to see everyone, and we can't wait to see them again soon!
RJ won the sword fight about three times in a row!
Grandpa and his babies.
Sweet cousins
She is so cute!
It's a long story, but Christian got an economy-sized package of conditioner from us for his birthday!
Babies loving tissue paper, what's new?

Zoo with Jill and Jake!

RJ and I went to the zoo with our friends Jill and Jake today. Jill and I met doing theatre at Sac State and she will sadly be moving to Alabama in not too long, so we need to make the most of the time we have together now! She currently lives in Woodland which is only about 10-15 miles North of where we live. RJ loved watching the giraffes and really loved the anteater. A lot of the animals were going "nigh-nigh's" enjoying the sun's beams on their rocks and such. Wow, that was poetic! Anyway, it was RJ's first time, and he really enjoyed not only going but visiting with our friends. Jake will be 2 in March and talks like a pro! We will be sad to see them go, but happy for their future!

The "Famous" Kaila and Savannah!

Our neices Kaila and Savannah are on a competitive cheer team called the Famous All-Star's and we got to go to their first competition in Sacramento at the convention center.  It was really fun and RJ got a kick out of the loud music - he danced quite a bit!  The girls had a really fun time, and although they did not win the highest title they did really well!  They seriously had the best stunts out of the whole group on their level...whatever!

Princess Winnifred Cooper and her yellow collar

Ryan bought Winnie a new yellow collar and she looks sooo cute in it.  Here are some pictures!

Being bashful...
Okay, so maybe I'm the only person who ever said she was the cutest - oh well!

Funny pictures of who else???

The ever-so-fashionable high-waisted grandpa-pants!
Being pissed off...
Winnie refusing to get up, even though clothes are piling up around her...
Really, though???
Still really pissed for some reason...

Just playing in the AM!

Ryan and I ususally switch off who wakes up with RJ daily, and this is a morning a couple of weeks ago, with RJ and I.  Oh, and a couple of silly dogs named Shooter and Winnie!  Enjoy!

So sweet, but get that ball out of my house, Winnie!
Doing his sound puzzle...
This is how he "plays" with his stuffed animals.  Jumps on them and hugs and kisses them!
These are the dogs who never get attention, have you ever met them?
See what I mean?
Honestly...
I found something, mom!
Mama's magazine, so interesting...
His doggies watching over him, cause I don't do a good enough job, I guess!
He sees his dogs watching him, and loves it!
He also loves books - okay maybe he loves turning pages of books....
