Delaney's 1st and Cheyenne's 18th Birthday Celebration

This weekend we went to Tracy to mainly celebrate Delaney and Cheyenne's birthday celebration.  However, I have to mention that Friday night Liz and Cheryl, Ryan's sister and mom, planned a birthday dinner for me, and it was lovely!  Ray made Chile Verde, which was awesome, and I really appreciated just being able to chill out with them!  Anyway!  Cheyenne turned 18 on Thursday, and Delaney will be 1 year old on Sunday, so we attended a wonderful birthday celebration for them both!  I was lucky enough to go with Cheyenne and her good friend Hailey to lunch before-hand, and we were chauffered around in a limo!!!  Ooh la la!  You know you're jealous!  Liz did an amazing job with the decor and all the planning - the party turned out great!

RJ and Delaney playing together

RJ and our niece Delaney are almost exactly 4 months apart (Delaney will be one year old on March 28th) and we have been watching Delaney the past couple of weeks, and I recently got some pictures of them playing together and them at the park. Delaney is so cute, she makes the sound of a monkey, and pretends to talk on the phone and gives the best hugs! She and RJ almost always play well together and it is really sweet to see that. Recently Ryan asked Delaney where her belly button was (RJ likes to show us his) and RJ helped her by touching her belly! They like to play music together, too, they play maracas, the tambourine, the cowbell, and RJ tries to blow through the harmonica. =) Hope everyone is well!

Just before he fell down the steps, boo!  He keeps falling and hitting his head in the same place (the upper right side of his forehead) and this past week my mom showed me where my brother has a permanent bump on his forehead, in the same spot!  (Apparently from doing the same as a toddler!)

We had talked about flowers the day before at the park, and I asked him where the flower was the next day and he pointed to it and touched it!  What a smart boy!

Aw, she wanted to sit on Auntie's lap, maybe not so much because of me, more so that she really didn't like the grass...  But she had fun watching RJ and hanging out!

Bowling for Heather's Birthday

Last night we went bowling for my best friend Heather's birthday.  It was a lot of fun, and we had a great time just hanging out and visiting, and chasing after RJ!  Happy birthday Heather, I love ya!
