Sweeping the kitchen

Today I swept up piles of black dog hair from my kitchen floor. I know that is gross to read, but this is my blog and it is my reality; my dogs are losing their winter coat! hahaha : ) Anyway! After I was done I set the broom to the side and RJ decided he was going to give it a go! He swept for probably close to an hour. He was getting all in the nooks and crannies of our kitchen, it was too cute! He is pretty strong, but it wore him out good! He is such a big boy; he also loves to wipe his face and high chair down after he's done eating...so sweet! He is such a sweet boy, and we are lucky to have him in our lives!

Look at that technique!
He would leave and then come back in and push it forward.
Putting on mama's oven mitt.
Getting the corners good!
This boy loves his doggies and these doggies love him!

Takin' a stroll...

I have told most of our friends and family that we live in a pretty rural area, but just in case you didn't know, now you do! : ) There are horses all over the place, chickens in our neighbor's backyard, as well as loose in someone's front yard down the street, dogs and cats everywhere, sheep, goats, cows, everything! There were even 2 llamas across the street, but unfortunately they both passed... Anyway, RJ and I were taking a walk the other day and walked past these sheep. They freaked out when we came close, but there was one that was slowly but surely coming toward us. They were very cute, especially the little ones! RJ kept barking at them, it was really funny! I love our neighborhood!

Day in the City with Papa and Nancy

Yesterday we went to San Francisco with Papa and Nancy to celebrate my bday.  They took us all around Chinatown and then we went to see Beach Blanket Babylon, which was totally cute and hilarious!  We also got to meet up with my Uncle Charles, which was great since we don't really get to see him that often.  We had a great lunch, and then just shopped til we dropped!  : )  Not only do we owe a huge thank you to Papa and Nancy for taking us, but also a thank you to Cheryl and Ray who watched RJ all day long for us!  Great time had by all!  Enjoy the pictures!

It's Spring!

Here are some pictures of us playing outside while daddy bbq's and some pictures of the "Sun Parasol" Crimson Mandevilla's I just planted in front of our porch. That space needed something and these will be in bloom spring through fall, so it will last almost all year! And, they will vein around the slats on our porch, and we thought that would look cool! Hope you enjoy them!

Golfing and being cute

RJ's newest obsession, literally he carries around golf-clubs all day, is GOLF!  He has a little set that he just loves!  He swings the club from right to left across the ground, it almost looks like he is looking for metal on a beach!  :)  Anyway, he absolutely loves golf right now, and here are some pictures of it:

Also, the other day he sat down on his Spiderman chair and grabbed the blanket next to him and pulled it up over his lap, and just sat for a second (that's all he can stand to be still).  It was so cute, and I had to make sure I documented it, cause it made me smile!  Hope it did the same for you, take care anyone who reads this...

Easter weekend in Oregon

We went to Brookings, about 5 miles north of the stateline and right on the coast of Oregon, for Easter weekend, and it was a fun time! Us, Cheryl and Ray, Liz, Robert, and all of their kids :) went and although the drive is a little much, it proved to be really fun! The weather was crazy! It was sunny, drizzling, then full on raining, then hailing, then snowing! We went to the beach with Cheryl, Ray, Kaila, Savannah, and Christian and it started hailing on us! RJ loves wind and rain, but he was not so much a fan of hail! The hunt was really cute and the dinner was awesome! We had a great time!

The sign.
The boy being tired...
Us being cute and my dog being crazy and needing to have his head right where a vent is.
So sweet.

Hey, I see it!
A dolla!
Looking at the snow.

He got up on the couch, then saw this sudoku book, got down off the couch, grabbed it, then tried to get back up on the couch, but grandpa had to help him.  He is so cute!
Big girl Delaney is taking lots and lots of steps!!!
RJ and mama, and sticking his tongue out with a piece of carrot at the end - weird!
I love my cousin Savanney!
