We left Monday and drove through Illinois and into Kansas City, Missouri. We got lunch at a great BBQ place, Gate's, (of course we had to try KC BBQ!) and then walked through an outdoor art museum.

Of all the art, the two rows of trees leading up to the museum were my favorite thing; so beautiful, reminds of me Jane Austen novels.

We also went to the National WWI Monument and Museum, which had the most amazing views and was just gorgeous in and of itself. Unfortunately we were not able to walk through the museum, but one day we will go back - I promised Ryan!

We then went to the Negro League Baseball Museum, which was something Ryan was really looking forward to. We had a really great day!
